Unless you have been living underneath a rock, you will know that dogs love playing.
I mean, sure… they also like to eat yummy food and be couch potatoes. But, something they absolutely adore is having fun with their hoomans.
The coolest part is that they don’t really care what game you play. From running around in the park, playing tag, or playing fetch – you name it, they love it! However, we hoomans sometimes tend to forget that stray pups want to play, too – they just don’t have anybody to play with.
That is why one stray pup decided that he was done playing alone!
The Cutest Surprise Ever
After coming back to her rural home, a woman named Violet found out she had a visitor.
When she opened her car door, a little furry head peeked inside, leaving her wondering what it wanted. After asking some questions, she noticed that the pup dropped a ball next to her feet, signaling that it was playtime!
Violet immediately understood what she was supposed to do, so she took the ball and gave it a good toss.
In a video posted to her TikTok, Violet showed that the pup wasn’t done there. She began teasing Violet, quickly picking up the ball as soon as the hooman would go to pick it up again.
HER EYESSSS 😭
It came as no surprise that the internet absolutely loved it!
Of course, the comments were full of fellow dog lovers who were urging Violet to adopt the sweet girl. But, after some investigating, Violet expects she may belong to her neighbors.
She saw her running around her neighbor’s property a couple of times and playing with their daughter. However, she did promise to adopt her if this ends up not being the case.
“But I’m going to keep an eye out just to make sure she is theirs because if not…” she stated in a video.
All They Want Is Love
Even though this sweet girl might be somebody’s pup, it doesn’t take away from the fact that there are many stray dogs who are eager to play.
According to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, there are around 6.3 million animals that enter American shelters each year.
And, as much as shelters try everything they can to ensure that these sweet creatures have the best time ever, sometimes that just isn’t possible.
Pups are really social animals who love having their own hoomans. I am sure that they love spending time with the kind staff and their furry friends, but a family of their own would be so much better.
So, please head down to your local shelter and offer a helping hand. If you are not able to adopt them, consider having a little playdate with them.
It will mean the world.
