Being weird from time to time is not a personality trait reserved only for humans. Animals, too, know how to behave this way, and our pets, including cats and dogs, are not an exception. 

From jumping around like crazy to making weird faces, dogs never disappoint with their quirks. But, what about cats? Well, these feline fellows can also express weird behaviors, but in a bit more mysterious, or even spooky way. 

One owner from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania was best convinced of this when she started seeing her cat in her room in the middle of the night. 

However, her feline fellow wasn’t looking for her but for her dog. 

Mysterious Nightly Encounter

The female owner, known on TikTok as @lindzaceto, recently started to notice that in the middle of the night, her cat, Hermione, slowly sneaks into the room where she and her dog, Wilson, sleep. 

She first thought that Hermione was looking for her, but soon realized that her interest lay in Wilson instead. 

This cat, with light steps, would approach Wilson and just “wink” at him, to which he would jump out of his crib and obediently follow her. 

He would give the owner a worried look as if he wanted her to help him. Still, he didn’t dare go against Hermione’s command so his owner couldn’t do anything.

The owner, on the other hand, was totally confused by the behavior of her pets and decided to record all this and post the video on TikTok.

In the caption of the video, she wrote: “I have so many questions 🤔.”

This video attracted a lot of attention and there were many comments from, also confused, viewers. “I don’t think the dog is safe,” one user wrote, while the other added: “the dog looking back like he’s being forced against his will to go.”

The third quipped: “Oh you need a camera in the living room to see what they are up to in there,” to which the owner replied: “I followed them last night, part 2 is posted!”

“A Secret Meeting”

In the second part of her answer to the last comment, the owner wrote: “Caught them having a secret meeting 🤔”

In the update video she posted a little later, we can again see Hermione and Wilson exiting the room of the house in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in the middle of the night. However, this time, the owner decided to follow them to see what these two were doing there. 

She found her cat and dog lying together in a comfy crib in another room, and wrote in the video: “Looks like I interrupted a private convo.” As soon as she saw her, Hermione ran away from Wilson, while he gave his owner an embarrassed look. 

In the end, it turned out that this dog and cat were not doing anything particularly mysterious but simply wanted to hang out and be together without anyone interrupting them. 

If their owner knew that, she certainly wouldn’t spoil their fun, but that’s why she surely won’t pay attention in the future when her Wilson suddenly disappears from bed.

She will definitely know that he is in safe claws.
