Stray Rescue of St. Louis set out to help a dog who was scared and trembling all over. Thomas Coffee, a nearby shop, had put out blankets and food and made the rescue call.

It was an amazing gesture to provide for a dog who didn’t trust anyone, but now she needed further care…

Rescuers had a calming presence and were able to let the dog know they were there to help. Now, she is safe and sound and ready to head to a foster home for a second chance at life.

There, she will learn how to socialize and what it means to be a pet before finding that perfect forever home! 🙂
