Every dog lover wants the same thing – to provide a helping hand to any doggo who might need it. 

Because of this, people from all over the world take stray pups into their loving homes, hoping to provide them with a better and happier life. 

Unfortunately, things aren’t as simple as they seem. Rescuing a pup from the streets usually means that you need to take them to the vet for a thorough medical evaluation. And, since this does come with a price, not everybody can afford it. 

That is why after one man rescued a pup named Tiger, he decided to contact a loving clinic for some help.  

Help Is Here 

When Sidewalk Specials, a mass sterilization unit and dog rescue, heard about Tiger and his friends, they made their way to their home without wasting a single second. 

Tiger is a stray pup who had been rescued by a kindhearted man who wasn’t really able to afford his medical bills. Luckily, Sidewalk Specials agreed to take care of everything.

When they arrived at the location, they first needed to carefully get Tiger and his other friends into their car. 

Tiger, specifically, was unsterilized, suffering from malnutrition and flystrike. Flystrike is a painful, sometimes fatal condition caused by flies laying eggs; therefore, it needs to be treated as soon as possible. 

At The Clinic 

After arriving at the clinic, this little pup gang was given a head-to-tail medical exam. 

Because they were such good and patient boys who listened to their vets very carefully, their checkup went by in the blink of an eye.  

The pups received all their necessary medications and were kept at the shelter where they were able to eat, play, and sleep for as much as they needed. Of course, this happy and healthy environment helped them transform into the cutest pups ever. 

A month later, these pups were completely unrecognizable. Tiger looked like a completely different dog. He was now a happy and healthy boy, with a healthy body and a happy soul!

The pups were returned to their owner who was given instructions by the rescue on how he should look out for them in the future. 

He was beyond grateful to Sidewalk Specials because without their help, he couldn’t even imagine what would have happened to his sweet furry friends. 

Take Care Of The Pups

This sweet story reminds us of the incredible impact a community can have on animals when they come together. A single act of kindness, such as reaching out for help can end up saving lives. 

Not only did Tiger and his friends get the medical care they so desperately needed, but they also were finally able to live the happy life pups like them deserve. 

So, let this be a reminder that every pup deserves a chance at happiness, and together, we can provide them with exactly that.
