It’s just awful thinking what stray dogs have to go through in their life. Just recently, I saw a pup who looked like he was injured, but he ran off after I got close because he was so scared.

I can’t even begin to imagine how much abuse these dogs go through to react this way. They didn’t do anything to deserve it. 

This matted dog was also living on the streets, and she tried her best to survive, but it was hard. However, a kind person noticed her and immediately called for help.

Suzette Hall To The Rescue

After Suzette Hall, from Logan’s Legacy, in California, received a call from her friend about this horribly matted dog, she just felt really bad and rushed to help her.

Once she was there, she started looking for the pup and was surprised when she actually found her pretty quickly.

The dog looked exhausted and scared. Her fur needed grooming, and she needed some nourishment.

Hall would approach her very slowly, and she noticed that the pup looked a bit hesitant. This was a stranger to her after all, and she had no idea of Hall’s intentions.

After a while, she was able to calm her down enough to get close to her. The pup just melted in Hall’s arms and finally realized she was going to be okay.

She didn’t want her to get scared, so she very slowly transported her into her vehicle and helped her settle in. 

Some Wonderful News

Hall immediately took her to the nearest vet in California so she could groom her fur and receive an examination.

She looked so relieved and grateful after the fur was gone. However, what happened next surprised Hall and the veterinarian.

As it turns out, this adorable dog was actually pregnant with four puppies. She is so lucky to have been rescued when she was because now, she can be a wonderful mom in the care of her rescuers.

Now that they know that, everything has changed. Hall thought it would be a good idea for her to be in a foster home where she can just relax and live her life with someone amazing.

So, Hall arranged for the dog to be transferred to Lovebugs Rescue, who are working to find her a great foster home.

It’s so comforting to know that her babies will be raised in a warm home with kind people who will give them all the love and attention they deserve.

While we don’t know what happens next in this sweet dog’s story, it’s great to know that she has amazing people around her who will stop at nothing to help her find her forever home.
