Senior Dog Labeled ‘Ugly And Old’ Rediscovers Himself Next To A Kind Rescuer

We as humans are capable of doing some truly great things. It’s inspiring to see how much good we can do when we all work together to accomplish it.

However, the unfortunate thing is that we can also do some really horrible things as well, and they can sometimes overshadow all the good we do.

Most dogs who suffer while living a life on the street get treated horribly by strangers, and some are outright abused, even though they don’t deserve it.

Arty was mocked by strangers who saw him as “ugly and old,” which made his living situation even worse. However, this doesn’t mean that it was hopeless. All he needed was one good person who would change his life forever.

There Is Hope After All

When a rescuer, Arturo Flores, was notified about a senior dog who was injured and lived on the streets of California, he took his car and drove to the location.

Once there, he tracked the pup down and saw that he was lying motionless on the street. He suspected that his injury was severe.

When he examined Arty, he realized that his leg was broken and that explained why he couldn’t move at all.

He was shivering, and it looked like he was a bit scared of other people, but he was too injured to move and run away from them.

After asking around, Arturo learned that the poor dog was lying there for three days and nobody even bothered to help him or call for help. He must have been in horrible pain.

I just don’t understand why it’s so hard for some people to be compassionate for animals. Arty had done nothing to deserve this.

When he finished examining him, he carefully took him back to the vehicle and transported him to a shelter in California.

The vet suggested that he would definitely need surgery for his broken leg, but there was one big catch.

Because of his age, they needed to do bloodwork first to see if it was safe to do surgery on his broken leg.

The kind rescuers gave Arty a nice bath and cleaned him up. He just looked so confused, as if he didn’t understand that he was safe in their hands.

They also gave him some painkillers and put a cast on his leg. This was going to help him for a while, and it would reduce the pain in his leg.

He is doing a lot better now, but his healing journey will take a while. He clearly looked depressed over something, it was just hard to pinpoint what exactly.

The rescuers just do not know what he went through before he ended up on the street. It’s likely that he was abandoned and abused, but there was no way to confirm that.

Regardless, this sweet dog is in good hands now with his rescuers and they will make sure that he gets to spend his life with someone who will treat him with love and respect.

While we don’t know what will happen next in his story, I am confident that his rescuers are doing everything they can to ensure his health and happiness wherever he ends up.
