Having a dog who is in his senior year is no easy task. Taking care of them can get difficult because of all the problems that come with age.

They could get digestion problems, hearing loss, or even lose their sight. While it’s terrifying knowing that your pup will have to face this, it’s comforting to know they have someone with them.

Their special person is always there for them to make sure they can deal with all of their problems properly. 

Emma is an owner who is in the same situation. She is a proud dog mom from Ohio, and she cares for her 16-year-old pup named Izzy. 

While the dog faces a lot of challenges due to her age, her mom still loves to take her to many different places where she can just walk and get some activity.

Izzy Wanted To Wander Around

Because Izzy is already very old, she is struggling with blindness and deafness. This has caused many struggles in her life, but she manages to get by regardless.

On one occasion, Emma’s mom decided to take Izzy to her school in Ohio while she prepared everything for class. 

Izzy usually likes to roam around the classroom, and she never got too far from Emma’s mom, but this time, it was a lot different.

Because of her blindness and deafness, she can get lost. Luckily, her mom, Emma, was always there to make sure that didn’t happen.

However, in this instance, Izzy decided to take a walk around the school and she ended up getting lost. She could hardly see where she was going and couldn’t find her way back.

Emma’s mom decided to record the moment when she realized that Izzy had gone to wander around the school.

She looked for her for a bit and found her in a male bathroom. Immediately, she started laughing and Izzy just looked confused not knowing where she was. 

Luckily, she was quickly reunited with Emma’s mom and this entire event was captured on camera.

Izzy Stole Everyone’s Hearts

Because Emma found this small moment hilarious, she decided to post it on TikTok and share it with the world. Almost immediately, it grew in views and a lot of people had their hearts stolen by Izzy. She is just adorable.

One person commented: “One of my elementary school teachers used to bring in her big Doberman. Sweetest guy. His dog bed was in the reading corner and we would read to him.”

Okay, this is absolutely heartwarming andit’s nice to know that people have this level of careand love for their dogs.

Another person said: “My dog went deaf and blind in his elder years but flourished. I think he enjoyed the quietness and non chaotic household. He was in his own world and loved it.”

Well, I guess in some ways, it can maybe help dogs who are more introverted, but it’s good to know that this dog had someone who cared for him this much.

Lastly, somebody commented: “She might be blind, but she definitely heard you.”

It’s hard to tell, but there might still be a possibility that she hears just a little. Although, she could probably smell her owner when she came into the bathroom.

Nevertheless, it’s so heartwarming to see that people could unite over something simple and share experiences about their dogs. They have always been great at helping us bond with other people.
