When this rescuer was first made aware of a puppy who was just dumped by her owner near some ruined buildings, he was in shock.

The man couldn’t believe why anyone would do this, so he immediately rushed to the place where the pup was and witnessed a depressing sight.

This puppy was lying on a red blanket, and she looked incredibly sick. The rescuer could hear her cries and he just knew that she was in a lot of pain, so he had to figure out a way to help.

Abandoned And Alone

Even though the pup was cruelly abandoned, there was still hope for her, especially now that her amazing rescuer was there.

He gave her a quick examination and knew that the pup didn’t have much time. He rushed to take her to the veterinarian clinic.

It was a long ride to the clinic, but the man was going as fast as he could. When he finally arrived, the puppy was taken into emergency care.

She went through a series of tests and examinations so that they could confirm what was really wrong with her. But, they would have to wait for a while.

The veterinarians gave her whatever treatment they could to make her feel a little better, at least until the test results were there.

The puppy had to be cared for around the clock, and the rescuer brought her food every three to four hours. She had to be fed through a syringe because she could hardly move her head. 

At one point, her rescuers brought her some delicious food and helped her lean her head over the bowl so she could eat. Surprisingly, she went for it and ate everything.

This was good news because it looked like she was finally getting some strength. With each day, this little pup, Melissa, was making more progress.

Melissa Has A New Family

She was eventually able to eat on her own, which made her rescuer really proud. It showed her resilience and determination to go on.

After treating Melissa for almost two weeks, her condition gradually improved. She is a lot more cheerful and spends a lot of time running freely around the yard.

Her rescuer was just really happy for her. It looked like she was finally moving past the trauma of her abandonment. She has a bright future ahead.

She spent four months in her rescuer’s care and he did a phenomenal job of caring for her. Now that she is doing better, the time has come for her to be placed on an adoption list.

Melissa’s rescuer spent a good amount of time searching for the best family possible and he was able to find one.

This remarkable pup met her new parents and they were absolutely thrilled to see her. I have no doubt that they will get along just fine.

After everything Melissa has been through, it’s heartwarming to know that she is living her dream life now.
