Who doesn’t like being the center of attention every once in a while?

I mean, we all have those days when we don’t feel like being brave and just want someone to shower us with love and cuddles and tell us it’s gonna be alright.

Dogs are no different in this regard. Well, not all dogs, but I know for a fact that Hulk doesn’t mind having the world revolve around him. Okay, maybe not the whole world, but his momma, Jess Irving, certainly does!

Hulk recently became a TikTok star due to his little quirks. However, one video in particular made him a star – and the reason is, as you can guess it, hilarious!

Mom, I Can’t Believe This Happened

Being a Jack Russell Terrier, Hulk sometimes leans into his dramatic side.

Recently, his mom shared some hilarious moments from their walk, where her tiny companion would display major trauma just moments later. 

Apparently, Hulk has had sensitive feet since suffering a nail bed infection several years ago, and this little “trauma” still triggers his everyday quirks.

While on their walk, Hulk dramatically paused and literally froze in place. 

The reason?

Well, he accidentally stepped on, wait for it – a leaf! That’s right. He immediately switched into his “freeze” mode because the leaf stuck to his paw, leaving him in a state of disbelief: “Can you be-leaf it?”

Buying into Hulk’s drama, Jess played along, adding to the whole situation.

“Baby, what’s happened? Oh, it was a leaf on your foot. Are you okay,” she asked.

The video soon went viral and gained millions of views, and some of the comments were rib-tickling!

“So brave of him to carry on,” one commenter wrote.

“Thoughts and prayers at this time, must have been traumatic,” another joked.

“My dog once limped for a quarter of an hour, because he stepped in a puddle,” the third shared their experience.

He’s So Much More Than Just Drama

According to Jess, this isn’t the first time Hulk has acted dramatically over stepping on something. 

He has reacted similarly after stepping on slugs and stones, which raises a rational question: Is he indeed the most dramatic dog in the world? Or at least the most dramatic Jack Russell Terrier?

“This morning it was the inability to walk because of a stuck leaf, but we’ve also had similar dramatics over a slug, grass, and dog poop,” Jess added on Instagram.

Jokes aside, Hulk is just so much more than just a drama king. He’s genuinely a great companion to his momma, a loyal friend and the biggest adventurer.

They love to share every moment together while exploring the world around them and making many new friends along the way.

Hulk is definitely living the life of his dreams. And even though he struggles with occasional leaves affecting his life balance, I’m absolutely sure that he wouldn’t change a thing about it.
