Although a dog is man’s best friend, that does not mean that these furry creatures do not spend time with each other. In fact, some of them create a bond so strong that they can’t stand it without hanging out almost every day. 

Two dogs who are neighbors in Los Angeles, California do just that — hang out every day, almost without an exception. Most of the time, a dog named Maple visits her best friend and their tails can’t stop wagging upon their meeting. 

Unfortunately, this time, the resident of the house had to disappoint her. 

A Regular Visitor

Langley, a musician known on TikTok under the name, @queendreamr, wasn’t surprised when one day, she saw a regular visitor in front of the entrance door. 

It was the neighbor’s dog, Maple, who came over every day to see her best friend, Poppy, and hang out with her. She expected that the same would happen that day as she was vigorously wagging her tail. 

Unfortunately, this time, the situation was a bit different because Poppy wasn’t home. Namely, she was on vacation with her owner and wouldn’t be there for a few days. 

This whole situation wouldn’t be so interesting and even heartwarming if Maple didn’t have the urge to enter the house and check if Langley was telling the truth. 

Langley found this so entertaining and heartwarming that she decided to record it and post the video on TikTok.

In the video, we can clearly see how Maple rushes to the room where Poppy spends her time, after which she goes to the living room where she climbs on the couch and finally realizes that her best friend is really not at home. 

After that, Langley comforts her and gives her a snack, and Poppy finally goes home with the hope that her best friend will return from vacation as soon as possible.

Long Awaited Reunion

Michelle and Annette, who are the owners of these two dogs, have been neighbors in Los Angeles, California for twenty years. For many years, they had a wonderful trio — Maple, Poppy, and the third dog named Lalo, who were all inseparable. 

Unfortunately, Lalo passed away, but Poppy and Maple’s relationship grew even stronger after that heartbreaking event. Considering that, it was no wonder that Maple was so desperate to see her friend that day and hang out with her. 

It is even a bit sad when you think about it, but the good news was that Poppy and her owner soon came back from vacation. As if she sensed her presence, Maple quickly reappeared in front of the door, eagerly awaiting the reunion with her best friend.

It was a wonderful moment when they finally saw each other again. After that, they played so much that in the end, they got tired and lay down together on the couch, curled up next to each other.  
“Reunited and feels so good,” Langley wrote in the caption of the video.
