A shelter is not a place for dogs, and we all know it. Unfortunately, our knowledge is in vain because more and more of our furry friends are ending up in those noisy, scary kennels where they can’t find love and security.
In many cases, this is the result of human heartlessness. However, sometimes it can be a consequence of unfortunate circumstances like when the owner just can not care for his dogs anymore because of financial or health issues, for example.
Sadly, it’s the same for the dog in that case because he doesn’t know why he suddenly found himself in a shelter. He only knows that he is in a dark and cold place and that his favorite person is not around anymore.
The expression on the faces of the two dogs who experienced such a fate best shows how all of them feel in those sad moments.
The Saddest Look
Until recently, two Beagles, three-year-old Mia and her four-year-old brother, Fraser, lived the best life in a warm home with a loving owner.
Then, one day, everything suddenly changed when their owner could no longer take care of them due to health issues. They ended up in a WNRSPCA shelter and their whole world fell apart there.
The shelter employees themselves were also heartbroken because of this unfortunate turn of events, especially when they saw the sad look on their faces.
They posted a video on their TikTok account in which they wrote heartwrenching words: “POV: Your owner who adored you fell ill, and now you’re stuck in this noisy, scary kennel, not knowing what you did wrong.”

In the video, it is clearly visible that these two dogs are not at all used to the shelter life. They are both well-behaved, house-trained, and unbelievably quiet for such a breed as beagles.
That can also be seen in the fact that they were very happy and playful in their loving home, while they suddenly sank when they came to the shelter.
Many Hearts Cry
This video attracted a lot of attention and, at the same time, broke many hearts and made them cry.
Among numerous reactions, we highlighted some of the comments.
“oh no poor baby. I hope the best for you sweet angel. So sad for the previous owner…” one user wrote.
“OH SWEET MIA 💖🥺😭😭😭,” another added.
And, the third quipped: “Boost for Mia & Fraser to find a loving home ❤️.”
We are all boosting for these beautiful souls and keeping our fingers crossed that they find their forever home.
Because, as the caption reads: “mia is meant to be curled up on someone’s sofa with her big brother fraser.”
