Concerning dogs, I think we can all agree that it’s an absolute tragedy when a sweet dog is abandoned by his family. 

However, for some people, that’s just a regular day like every other. They don’t like their furry companions and that makes it easy for them to just leave the pups on their own.

This is a huge problem because we live in a world where there are a lot of stray dogs, and when people do horrible things like this, it just creates an even bigger problem.

Let’s examine this case for example. This sweet and gentle dog was abandoned by his owners and left on the side of a road to starve. 

Luckily for him, a kind person was driving through that busy road and saw him. She realized she couldn’t just ignore him so she stopped her car to help.

George Is A Very Sweet Dog

When a rescuer stopped to see if George was okay, she was heartbroken to see that the pup was soaking wet from the rain and was probably standing there for hours.

He was hungry and didn’t have any choice but to try and beg other people for help. It’s sad to even think how long he was struggling like this.

But, he didn’t have any choice. George’s previous family left him because they wanted him gone. However, that was not going to happen.

This amazing rescuer stepped in to save him. She approached the pup and immediately noticed that he was very friendly.

The rescuer gave him some food and realized just how hungry the pup was when he started eating it.

Even though George was likely very cold, he couldn’t contain his happiness when this kind human decided to help him. There was a smile on his face despite what he went through.

After enjoying a delicious meal, the rescuer took the dog and transported him to her car. Now that he was safe, they went to a veterinarian clinic together.

George Has A Bright Future

Once there, the veterinarians examined George and found that he was mostly healthy. He was malnourished, but that problem could be easily fixed with time and care.

The veterinarians also groomed some of his dirty fur and made sure he got cleaned up. When the examinations were over, he was allowed to stay in the shelter.

Now that the rescuer knew he was going to be okay, she needed to think about his future. He was a sweet dog, so finding a family would probably not be a big problem for him.

She noticed how George was always cheerful and playful when he was around her, so this was a good sign. 

Even though he was cruelly dumped by his family, he still retained a very positive attitude toward other people, which was crucial.

So, George’s rescuer decided to place him on an adoption list and start looking for a family for him. Even though it might take some time, she is willing to care for him until that happens.

While we don’t know what happens next in George’s story, I am hopeful that he will find a family who will give him all the love and care he deserves.
