A Meaningless Life
There are so many dogs in this world who live a life without any kind of meaning or pleasure. Their owners are content to keep them on a leash, and they never get to do anything.
But it doesn’t have to be that way. It’s important to realize that we have the power to help these poor animals find a better life with someone who appreciates them.
For this story, we’ll be talking about a dog who lived her entire life on a chain before someone amazing stepped in and saved her.
A Depressing Life
When Juliette was first found by rescuers from the Humane Society of the United States in a foreign country, she was living on an abandoned farm where they used dogs for food.
They noticed that she was very happy to see them, almost as if she knew they were saving her and taking her to a wonderful place.
She was later brought to the United States, and her rescuers posted an Instagram story about her life, hoping that someone would adopt her.
That’s when Michigan-born actor Daniel Henney stepped in and decided that he would be the one to make Juliette’s life better. He saw her story on social media and knew she was the one for him. He wasted no time and took the first chance he had to go meet her.
Juliette’s Gentle Nature
When he first saw her, Henney noticed how sweet and relaxed she was. They met at a park so they could play and get to know each other a little more.
And it was a really productive day. Juliette loved her walk in the park and Henney was surprised to see how easily she adapted to being around new people.
When it was time to go to her new home, she was more than eager to see him. There, she met her new brother, Roscoe.
The two connected almost instantly and Roscoe was excited to finally have a new sister… someone to play with and spend time with.
She is now living a life of adventure and exploring many amazing places, like Lake Michigan, with Roscoe and her new dad.
Henney was happy that the two got along so well from the start, and he couldn’t be more proud of the progress Juliette made in adjusting to her new life.
In the end, Henney stressed the importance of being active in the community and helping dogs like Juliette who live in such horrible places.
Sometimes, all it takes is a simple phone call to save dozens of dogs and give them a new chance at life.
