Pups make our lives better in so many ways. Not only are they sweet and loving and make excellent, faithful companions, but there are also countless working dogs out there who are providing essential services to people in need.

At the K-9 Country Inn in Canada, pups train to one day work for the police force as service dogs.

The pups at the K-9 Country Inn go through a thorough, 2-year-long training program which teaches them everything from obedience to social skills; anything that will help them help others.

K-9 officers meet all kinds of people in the line of duty, from children to adults to other animals, and will have to be able to handle many different situations and settings with ease.

The last step of the K-9 Country Inn Working Service Dog’s program is an obedience test; the furry students are tested to see if they can obey their handlers’ commands and remain quiet and still, even when faced with distractions and temptations.

So, one class of adorable soon-to-be-graduates were taken to the Stratford Festival, ushered into an 1800-seat theatre, and asked to sit quietly at their handlers’ feet while the rest of the audience watched Billy Elliot The Musical.

Apparently, all the furry little students performed really well, although a few of them did sneak a few peeks at the screen.

A few pictures were taken of the sweet pups with their excited faces popping over the backs of the chairs, and they quickly went viral.

The pictures of the adorable K9’s have now been shared far and wide, as people are completely blown away by the adorably wholesome scene.

The good boys and girls were pleased to pass their test, and would probably be even happier to know that their pictures have spread so much joy.

After all, these sweet pups have dedicated their lives to helping others, and are constantly looking for ways to please and comfort others.

We’re all so proud of these little furballs.
