It was a frantic call from a good Samaritan on Wednesday to Stray Rescue of St. Louis about a family of dogs, three puppies and one adult dog, living in the pipes at a construction site. The dogs were in a very dangerous situation and needed help quickly.
Within minutes, Donna Lochmann and a group of rescuers were on their way to the construction site. The dogs were hiding at the bottom of the pipes, it seemed like an eternity had passed, but the task was completed and all the dogs were safely rescued.
Surprisingly, it turned out to be the puppies’ father along with the puppies; he was no more than a year old and with him were his three puppies, estimated to be about four months old.
THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! THE PUPPIES ARE ABLE TO GO TO TEMPORAL HOMES WITH ANOTHER HAPPY DOG IN THE HOME TO SHOW THEM THE SECRETS OF HOW TO BE A DOG.
Ideally, these pups would have the most fun playing in the yard and running around with toys. They could learn that being on a leash isn’t a bad thing and brings all kinds of interesting smells and adventures.
The father seems to be very friendly, and once they all got out of the pipes, which proved to be a bit challenging for the rescuers, the PIPER family is ready to start their charmed lives.
