A brave mother dog fought to keep her five little furbabies alive after they were abandoned in the jungle on Saipan.

The mother dog was deeply worried for her children. The food was scarce and the furbabies needed medical attention.

Although their living conditions were terrible, the mama dog, later named Frankie, didn’t give in to sadness. She showered her babies with love, hoping for a miracle.

Will anybody find them and bring them to safety before it’s too late?

The Miracle That The Dog Was Waiting For

While Aria and Grace Keilbach were feeding stray dogs on Saipan, they encountered Frankie and her babies and immediately sprang into action.

While the mother dog was distrustful and kept her distance, her puppies started running after their rescuers as if they were asking them for help.

The furbabies were covered in ticks and fleas. When Aria and Grace saw that they had swollen bellies, they knew that the puppies were infested with worms.

Frankie was extremely distrustful of the rescuers. She snapped at them when they tried to rescue her.

The rescuers decided to take the puppies with them and come back for the mother later on. They were worried that Frankie might move her babies to a new location if they left them with her.

“When you know that the puppies aren’t going to survive the night, you have to do it and then just come back for Mom,” Aria told The Dodo.

After they collected the puppies in a basket, theyrushed them to the vet.

Aria and Grace made sure that the puppies got the urgent medical care they needed.

The next day, the rescuers returned to the jungle in order to rescue Frankie.

This time, the mother dog was friendly and she was waiting for them on the roadside. As soon as she noticed the rescuers, the mama dog started following their car. 

Aria and Grace offered her food, but the doggo refused to eat. She started sniffing the car and searching for her babies. She could still smell them. 

A Heartwarming Reunion 

Wishing to reunite with her babies, Frankie jumped into the car through the window and curled up on the front seat. 

Although she was malnourished and exhausted, the dog was content because she sensed that she would see her children again.

Once the rescuers brought the mama dog to their home, she heard them squealing and glued herself to the door.

As soon as Aria and Grace opened the door, Frankie ran to her kids and kissed them. She was so happy to see them again.

The puppies couldn’t contain their excitement when they saw their mom. They wagged their tails and jumped with joy.

Although we don’t know what happened next in their story, I have no doubt that such a lovely doggy family found great families who adore them.
