Stella was abandoned by her own people as if she were merely an object. The neighbors couldn’t afford to feed her, so she was left there to fend for herself.

Thankfully, Sidewalk Specials was called on to help before things could get even worse for the poor dog.

Sidewalk Specials got the dog over to Vet Point for a checkup and care. And it was there that it was discovered Stella had tick bite fever, papilloma warts, and mange.

Also, blunt force trauma to her eye meant that it wouldn’t be able to be saved.

Who would want a sick dog like me, Stella must’ve thought at one point. But a foster mom soon stepped in to answer that very question!

And their situation together became what is known as a “foster fail.” This meant Stella was going nowhere and this was her forever home!

With so many friends and toys, she couldn’t even ask for a better life. 🙂
