One of the things that we love most about dogs is their simplicity in everything. They don’t need much to be happy.

They just want to spend time with us, whether it’s napping, going for a walk, or playing in the park. There is no real need to complicate things when you are with them.

Anytime we need them to be there for us, they are always there. Dogs are our best friends and we should treasure every moment with them.

When it comes to Nia, this sweet pup was abandoned by her owner when she was just happy. Fortunately, for her, everything was about to change.

Nia’s New Life

After a kind woman first noticed Nia in a shelter in Georgia, she thought that the pup was just adorable. They bonded almost immediately.

Because the woman worked at the shelter, they saw each other all the time. With every day, their bond grew stronger.

Nia was a very skittish dog, and yet, she trusted her new friend. She helped Nia overcome her fear of humans. Who knows what she had been through before coming to the shelter in Georgia.

To make things even better for Nia, the kind woman thought it would be a good idea to foster her, so she did.

This sweet pup changed completely now that she is leading her new life. Ever since she moved in with her rescuer, her favorite activity has been to just relax and nap.

She became the happiest doggo and she finally knows what it feels like to be loved and cared for by someone truly special.

A channel by the name, Hans & Friends, posted a short clip of Nia relaxing with Nana on TikTok. The clip garnered attention and many people shared their thoughts on it.

One person commented: “Our rescue had the same reaction to meeting Papa!!! Wait, we just sit here for hours and get pets? And he has cheese snacks that he shares? And he likes slow leisurely walkies?!? We live here now…”

Well, like I said, dogs are simple creatures and it doesn’t take a lot to make them happy. We just have to show them that we care.

Another person said: “Nana has ‘mommy’ hands. Those are the hands that with one touch can put anyone to sleep and just feel loved and relaxed.”

Nana is always great at making everyone feel happy and welcome, even other dogs. You can tell that is true just by looking at Nia.

Lastly, somebody commented: “Dogs are so in tune with a person’s energy. Nana energy is top notch healing and relaxing.”

And, that is good news, too. Nia has spent her life terrified of other humans. Nana has helped her change completely and that is just amazing.

Not everyone is great with dogs. Even people who like dogs sometimes lack the intuition needed to care for them. 

However, Nana is just amazing. She knew what Nia needed and she gave her everything. Thanks to her, this pup now finally learned what it’s like to feel loved.
