We all know just how excited dogs get when it’s playtime. It’s their favorite activity in the world and there is nothing they love more than spending time with their favorite human.

No matter how old they get, they will always like to play fetch or just run in the park and play with other dogs.

It’s one of the most amazing things about them. They are such simple creatures and we should look up to them more. 

There is no better example of this than Emily Todd’s Golden Retriever. He is a very special senior pup who still enjoys fun time with his friends. However, when his mom surprised him with something new, his reaction was priceless.

Todd Loves The Snow

Even though snowfall is very rare in South Carolina, the citizens of this state were fortunate enough this year to experience the first snowfall in a long time.

Most people took advantage of this, even though it was really cold. One such person was Emily Todd. She had seen this snowfall as a great opportunity.

Despite the fact that it was 11:30 PM and it was already cold outside, Emily went for a walk with her Golden Retriever.

When her dog realized it was snowing outside, his reaction was priceless. He immediately started running around in the snow.

He could hardly contain his excitement and so he started rolling on the ground. He was full of snow and he just looked so happy.

Emily noted that her dog had seen snow only once before and that was when he was three years old. This is his second experience with snow in South Carolina and it’s just heartwarming. 

Internet’s Heartwarming Reaction

After she witnessed his excitement, Emily couldn’t resist recording this wholesome moment and posting it on her TikTok. It’s no surprise that it exploded in popularity.

One person commented: “If the snow is still around, you will treasure a photo of his paw prints in the snow.”

There is nothing quite like capturing a special moment on camera. Seeing how happy Emily’s dog is playing in the snow will definitely become a treasured memory.

Another person said: “The best walks I had with my dog were late at night when it snowed, an excuse for us to both play in the untuouched snow.”

Seeing other people share their experiences is always great. It really reminds me just how much dogs like snow. Moments like this are really rare and special for them.
