Rescuer Chernyshkova received a call about a dog stuck under a manhole cover who needed help immediately. Several passersby stopped to help get him out, and the poor boy seemed to be injured.
He was hungry and scared and unsure of everything around him…
Shustrik would need surgery on his leg signaling the beginning of his second chance at life. But he was homesick during recovery and went about it at his own pace.
Before long, the good boy came around and headed home with his rescuer. And this would prove to be exactly what he needed! 🙂
