When a farmer heard faint cries coming from a nearby field, her heart sank. 

After following the desperate sounds, she discovered a tiny puppy who was lying motionless in a bush. 

The little furbaby was hoping that his beloved mother would hear him and come to save him and his four siblings.

The woman’s heart became overwhelmed with sadness when she realized that the puppy’s littermates had crossed the rainbow bridge.

She immediately called the rescuers and told them about the heartbreaking sight that she encountered.

Safe And Sound

Once the rescuers reached the address, the woman led them to the field.

When the crew saw the helpless pup lying next to his siblings who sadly didn’t make it, their hearts shattered.

Having no time to waste, the rescuers focused on rescuing the surviving sibling.

They quickly realized that it wasn’t going to be easy to reach him because the bush was surrounded with mud.

The team used a dry branch to walk on and get to the crying puppy.

When they picked him up, they spoke to him gently, trying to comfort him. 

Unaware that he was rescued, the puppy, later named Andrew, continued whining.

Since Andrew’s fur was covered with ticks, the farmer invited the rescuers into her home so that they could clean him up.

After a soothing bath, the puppy fell asleep and the rescuers took him away.

The Pup Starts Recovering

Andrew was only two weeks old and he needed constant care. His caregivers kept him warm and fed him with a syringe every two hours.

The puppy’s eyes were swollen and watery, so his rescuers cleaned them regularly.

As days went by, the little boi began feeling better, and a week later he was able to stand on his paws and eat by himself.

The rescuers kept thinking about the whereabouts of Andrew’s mom so they asked the farmer to check the area again.

The kind woman searched the field and inquired with her neighbors about the puppy, but nobody knew anything.

Since the mother dog wasn’t found, the rescuers were sure that heartless people snatched the puppies from their mama and dumped them in the bush.

Andrew Makes Friends

Although the puppy had the best care in the world, he missed his mother. He wished he could snuggle with her again and feel her love.

The other dogs that lived with the rescuers noticed Andrew’s sadness. They started consoling him and giving him cuddles that he missed.

Andrew quickly bonded with them. He soaked up their love and considered them his family. 

The sadness disappeared from his face and he started smiling more.

With every passing day, the puppy thrived. He loved hanging out with his doggy friends and playing with toys.

Thanks to the love Andrew received from both his rescuers and doggy friends, he became a happy pup who overcame his heartbreaking past.
