Unfortunately, we are not living in a fairytale—in an ideal world where all dogs happily reside in warm homes with their beloved families.

The reality is quite the opposite. Many of our furry friends are left to fend for themselves on the streets, often in unbearable conditions.

One good soul witnessed this firsthand one day when she heard barking while driving along the road. She immediately stopped to investigate and discovered a trembling mother dog by the roadside.

The poor canine clasped her paws together as if she was begging for help. 

All The Love For Her Little Ones

After constant barking, this poor dog did not make noise anymore when the woman came closer. She seemed a little anxious even though the good soul only wanted to help her. 

Yet, this woman understood that as she saw in this dog’s eyes she had been through a lot. However, since the mother clasped her hands together, she also knew that the poor dog was begging for help. 

The dog led her to one place in the bushes, and when this woman saw what was inside, she was totally heartbroken. There were seven little puppies for whom this mother dog was ready to do anything. 

Since the dog’s teats were swollen, the woman knew that she had not given birth too long ago. That’s why she went into action immediately and brought both the mother and her babies to safety. 

Thriving Every Day

At first, the mother dog was very protective of her little babies. However, when she saw that this woman meant no harm, the smile instantly returned to her face and she started radiating love and kindness. 

April, as her rescuer named her, had seven puppies – four girls and three boys. Fortunately, they all seemed to be healthy and ready to thrive every day as they were showered by their mother’s love all the time. 

For her savior and other people who were taking care of this canine family, there was nothing more precious to see than April taking care of her children gently and lovingly. Of course, April also had her own time and space to relax. 

She mostly enjoyed spending her time in the lap of her savior and cuddling non-stop. Despite her rough appearance, she was one of the gentlest dogs that had ever been in this house. 

Thanks to mutual love, she established a strong bond with her caretaker, and all the wounds on her soul healed quickly. In general, she thrived rapidly.

Wonderful News

When the puppies opened their eyes for the first time, they could see only love and warmth from their mother and affectionate caretakers. Because of that, it wasn’t hard for them to quickly thrive and take their first wobbly steps. 

Their caretakers decided to name them Ron Swanson, Andy, Leslie, Ann, Donna, Mona-Lisa, and Joan. These seven amazing boys and girls grew up so fast and became full of life and a bit mischievous as well. 

This was all good news but wonderful news for April and her puppies came sooner than they expected. After sixty-five days in their care, they all have been adopted. Those were truly the most beautiful moments and April could not take the smile from her face. 

How could she not when just two months ago, she was on the street, alone and worrying about her children and fearing for their future?

Now, they are all in forever homes with loving families, all thanks to a good soul who did not want to give up on them.
