I have written about countless stories regarding animals who desperately needed help. 

Thankfully, a kindhearted person always comes along as a knight in shining armor and is able to offer a helping hand, providing the helpless animal the help they needed. 

Seeing those once unfortunate animals thriving and living their best lives warms my heart every single time. So, when I saw the story of this little pup, I desperately wanted him to end up happy. 

Luckily, my prayers were answered!

Help Is Here 

When a photographer, named Tyler, and his wife were climbing up a stunning mountain in order to take some photos, they had no idea that they were going to find something extremely heartbreaking. 

A little puppy was sitting in the mud, crying his little heart out. His eyes clearly showed that he was on the verge of giving up as hadn’t seen a single person in days. 

The second the couple saw this, they knew they had to help. 

After spending some time with him trying to make him understand the fact that they meant him no harm, the man was able to pick up this sweet boy and carefully take him down the mountain. 

As he had him in his embrace, the man noticed that the pup was completely covered in fleas. This was just more proof for them that the poor little fella was all on his own for who knows how long. 

Life Sure Does Get Better

When they finally got home, the couple gave the pup some yummy food to fill up his tummy. 

The pup was so hungry that he licked his plate clean. Seeing what big appetite this small boy had, the couple knew that he was going to be okay. 

They took him to the vet for a head-to-tail examination, and made sure that he got all of the medications and shots he needed. After a couple of vet visits, the pup began showing incredible signs of improvement.

Because the pair already had two adorable pups, they decided to put up this adorable pooch for adoption. And to his surprise, Tyler immediately found the perfect person – his wife! 

“Not my typical post. This pup was on his last leg when I found him. I figured if we spent this much time and money to get him to this point we might as well keep him. We named him Lucky for good reason. And he is living his best life now,” he wrote on his Instagram.

Ever since, Lucky has been absolutely thriving.

His days are full of love, happiness, and excitement. His loving owners make sure he has everything he could ever need and more, while his furry siblings have him restlessly running around. 

And, for him, this is the best life ever!
